YOU-PICK TULIPS

$200 Value for a private picking experience of 60 Stems of beautiful tulips grown at the farm.
This CSA Share is for tulips lovers. Up to six guests will get a private experience picking a total of 60 tulip stems (10 stems per person) from our very special tulip field. Walk with friends through our flower fields and interact with single, double and specialty tulips in all colors and forms.
Barnswallow will provide a bucket and snippers to harvest some of our favorite specialty varieties at prime bloom time. Tulips can be harvested the traditional way by using a potato fork and pulled. Bulbs can be kept to replant in your home garden! This is a great time to take a selfie and some videos while enjoying your time at the farm.
At the end of your experience, Barnswallow will wrap your stems in paper and provide a vase for your home. This exclusive you-pick tulip experience will not be offered to the general public, so this is a very special opportunity!

The you-pick date will be available at prime bloom time. General time slots will be released 1-2 weeks prior and made by appointment ONLY. Usually prime bloom time occurs the first two weeks of May, but can vary by spring weather.
All flowers grown at Barnswallow utilize sustainable, chemical free growing practices.
Flower for harvesting will be available dependant on prime bloom time starting in MAY. You will receive an email for official CSA you-pick dates 1-2 weeks prior. You-Pick will take place at Barnwallow Farm: 2560 Highway 23, Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577.
No refunds or substitutes are available once your order is placed. We cannot offer any refunds if you are unable to fulfill your CSA share for any reason. However, you may gift to family or friends in the event you cannot attend. Please use their name for you-pick entrance.
