This specialty decorative dahlia variety is the perfect showstopper in architectural designs and equally bountiful bouquets. It's hero bloom qualities in shades of orange, salmon and raspberry pair well with a solid bloom colors. When compared to a variety like Miss Amara, it has more show with it's elongated petals.
Tuber production and storage can be a bit more demanding for this variety. So price point reflects the difficult in cultivating this dahlia in zone 5B. I find that it's dark leaves and stems aid in pest and disease protection, and it's particularly strong in the outdoor weather elements. We invested in this dahlia variety from the beginning and there's a reason why it has a permanent place in the Barnwallow collection. Bloom size 6-8 inches and 4-5 feet tall.
