Bright, upward-facing orange flowers make Lilium Orange Matrix a compact early-summer choice for patio pots and border groups. Upright stems carry dark green lance-shaped leaves, and each flower deepens toward the center with a few dark red spots.
Plant in full sun or partial shade in moist but well-drained soil enriched with organic matter, and keep the base shaded. Deadhead after flowering, then cut stems back when the foliage dies down. The bulbs should not be eaten, and the plant is toxic to cats if eaten; wear gloves when handling.
