Filipendula Wbprest forms a compact mound of green, palmate foliage marked by bold crimson to purple veins. Soft pink, fragrant flower plumes rise above the leaves in summer.
Place it in a moist border, woodland garden, cottage planting, or container. Grow it in partial shade, or choose full sun only where the soil stays consistently moist.
Water regularly so the soil does not dry out. Mulch with leafy organic matter in spring, divide in early spring, and cut stems to ground level in early winter.
