This decorative variety was added by Farmer Meredith for the intense form of honeycomb blends and lily variety all in one form. Shades of pinky salmon are delicious. While it heirs more on the ball side in form, its plethora of tight honeycomb petals beg you for more in form. It is a very desirable variety by designers and farmers alike because it is so versatile in a range if floral work. A great addition to any collection. Perhaps yours?
Coralie is a bit of a shape shifter dahlia based on its blooming maturity, ranging in various shades of pink with sometimes undertones of creamy peaches and soft purples. If overcast one weeks, stems will be darker pink. If full sun in the field, they tend to be white washed. I don't feel this should be a deterrent to florists or growers, as its cultivated qualities are so positive, a little change in color variety is welcomed. I haven't seen anything quite like it, and that's why I added to the Barnswallow collection. It also has striking dark foliage and stems, something I watch out for in initial month tuber investment.
