Alstroemeria Turcalrite fills borders and patio pots with dense clumps of yellow flowers marked by red-pink zones and brown striping from late spring into fall. The leafy stems stay compact, and terminal flower clusters also provide long-lasting stems for cutting.
Grow it in full sun or partial shade in fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Water regularly during active growth, pull spent flowering stems from the base, and feed in spring. Slugs and snails may target young shoots. Contact with the plant can cause a skin allergy.
