Hosta sieboldiana Blue Angel is a giant clump-forming perennial with immense broadly ovate to heart-shaped leaves. Strong veins, gently puckered surfaces and a waxy blue-gray bloom create dramatic texture in shade.
In midsummer, tall green scapes carry racemes of nodding bell-shaped flowers in white with a pale purple wash. Mature leafy clumps can become exceptionally broad and provide dense groundcover.
