Pale pink flowers with deep pink centers and yellow throats distinguish Hemerocallis Strawberry Candy in early to midsummer. The upright, clump-forming perennial reaches about 65 cm and carries single 11 cm blooms above semi-evergreen, strap-shaped green foliage. It reblooms and attracts butterflies and bees.
Grow it in full sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Water freely from spring through summer. Cut back flower stems after flowering and remove dead foliage as needed. All parts are toxic to cats if eaten; avoid planting where cats may chew them.
