We have been searching for a suitable 5B cultivated replacement for Chricton Honey. Suncrest seems to be somewhat suitable and comparable, but is on the more burnt orange side of the color wheel. With a little sun exposure, we've been able to make this work for the time being.
If there was a summer sunset in dahlia form, this dahlia would be on the list. Dreamy burnt yellow orange petals shape shift in various color ranges. Some are more bright yellow and others are more burnt yellow orange. It's a perfect dahlia for use of romantic yellows in bridal and extremely versatile in color combinations that take on an antique quality.
Bloom size is 3-4 inches on 3-5 ft stems.
