A farm staple peony because of it's deep magenta tone that goes with soft feminine spring tones. Everyone always comments on its beauty when in mixed bouquets. Double very large flower petals have a silky, almost royal luster. This peony loves to throw blooms that last for a long time. It doesn't mind warmer zones and is weather tolerant.

*Farmer Meredith's 2 Cents: This peony is a tough old bird and hard to kill, although we tried from weeds to extensive, yearly droughts. It's a must have for those experiencing harsh weather conditions or large shifts in temperature like we do here in Iowa zone 5B.

Bloom Time: Mid to Late Season
Once planted, bare root peonies will take 2-3 years to create a large display of flowers. Each bare root tuber will include 3-5 eyes, which is where the plant will force flowering stems through the ground for the following year.
