Veronica spicata Ulster Dwarf Blue packs upright royal-blue to deep purple flower spikes above a compact mound of toothed green leaves. Its low growth fits border fronts, path edges, rock gardens, and small patio containers, while the summer flowers provide nectar for bees and butterflies.
Plant in full sun or partial shade and well-drained soil. Water regularly without overwatering, and remove faded flower spikes to encourage more bloom. Clear old overwintered stems in early spring. The plant is toxic if eaten.
