Thalictrum delavayi Hewitts Double brings tall, airy sprays of double lilac-purple flowers to a moist, partially shaded border. Finely divided foliage keeps the narrow clump light in appearance beneath the flowers. Set it among other perennials where the slender stems can rise through neighboring foliage, and stake them if needed. The long-lasting flower sprays also provide stems for cutting.
