Fluffy flower clusters rise above lacy blue-green leaves on Thalictrum aquilegiifolium, an upright perennial for moist borders and naturalized plantings.
Grow it in rich, well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade. Its pink, purple, or white panicles flower from May through July and attract butterflies. The whole plant is poisonous, especially the root.
