Rudbeckia laciniata Goldquelle is a compact, upright, clump-forming perennial with green stems and dark-green, slightly lobed leaves marked by paler veins.
Fully double, bright lemon-yellow flower heads open from August into late September. Each head can reach 9.5 centimeters across, and the densely packed florets hide the central cone.
Grow it in full sun or partial shade in moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Avoid heavy fertilizer, divide established clumps in spring or autumn, and deadhead faded flowers.
