Phlox paniculata Grenadine Dream forms a compact, upright clump with dark green leaves on sturdy stems. Dense clusters of fragrant red-purple flowers open from summer into fall.
Grow it in full sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil with good air circulation. Water at soil level during dry spells, deadhead spent clusters, and cut the stems to the base in late fall.
