Yellow peonies are hard to come by! This unusual, butter-yellow peonies have strong, upright stems. Fully double flowering after several years, so give this peony some time. Farmer Meredith loves this color, reminding her of lemon curd or ice cream. Delicious!

*Farmer Meredith's 2 Cents: Anything that is the color of butter yellow, I will buy. Although we are still in field trials with this peony, I'm seeing good promise out of the first couple years of growth. What's not to love?

Bloom Time: Mid Season
Once planted, bare root peonies will take 2-3 years to create a large display of flowers. Each bare root tuber will include 2-3 eyes, which is where the plant will force flowering stems through the ground for the following year.
