Wide blue-green margins surround chartreuse-to-yellow centers on Hosta Touch of Class. Its heavy leaves form a compact mound, and pale lavender flowers rise above the foliage in midsummer.

This perennial fits shaded borders, underplanting, mass plantings, and patio containers. Grow it in fertile, moist but well-drained soil, with shelter from harsh exposure. Space plants 61 centimeters apart so each mound can develop.

The plant is toxic to dogs, cats, and horses. Feed lightly in early spring, keep fertilizer away from the crown, and remove dead foliage after it dies back.
