Hosta Sunset Grooves carries yellow-centered leaves with broad dark green margins in shaded beds and containers. Thick, puckered, cupped leaves form a compact mound, with loose clusters of near-white tubular flowers above the foliage in summer.
Grow it in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in partial or full shade. Choose a sheltered position away from drying winds. It can edge a border, cover ground, fill a patio container, or underplant roses and shrubs.
