Hosta Royal Standard forms a broad mound of glossy light green leaves, with fragrant white flowers held above the foliage in late summer. The flowers attract hummingbirds and other pollinators.
Grow it in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in partial shade, sheltered from cold, dry winds. It works in shaded borders, under shrubs, and in large containers. This plant is toxic to dogs, cats, and horses.
