Hosta Monkey Business forms a medium clump of long green leaves with wide yellow margins held upright on red petioles. The leaves arch and ripple, while the margins begin green-misted and turn yellow as the season advances.
Place it in partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. It suits courtyard gardens, cottage borders, rock gardens, patio containers, and ground-cover planting.
Purple flowers rise above the foliage in summer. Divide established clumps in early spring or late summer, and clear dead foliage after the growing season.
