Farmer Meredith really feels this ITOH peony has promise in her field. It has dark peach/pink double flowers that get darker towards the edges. It tends to change color into a velvety vanilla color, making it fun to watch in any landscape. Great for fresh-cut and also a favorite of the Floret Flower Library Collection.

Once planted, bare root peonies will take 2-3 years to create a large display of flowers. Each bare root tuber will include 2-3 eyes, which is where the plant will force flowering stems through the ground for the following year.
