Hemerocallis hybrida Stella Rouge is a compact, clump-forming perennial selected for an evergreen habit and repeat flowering. Its deep red single flowers have a warm yellow to yellow-green throat and rise above narrow, arching green foliage. The cultivar flowers in repeated waves from spring into fall and suits sunny borders, ground-cover drifts, and patio containers.
Once established it tolerates periods of dryness, although regular summer water supports the strongest display. The plant is toxic to cats if eaten; keep clippings away from cats.
