Hemerocallis Chicago Apache is a vigorous deciduous daylily with sturdy scapes and single 13 cm scarlet-red flowers, recurved ruffled tepals, a small sulphur-yellow watermark, and a green throat.
Grow in Full sun or Partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. It tolerates poorer and dry soils once established, suits borders and containers, and attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.
