Dahlia Karma Gold is an upright decorative cut-flower dahlia. Dark green, finely incised foliage frames sturdy stems carrying large, fully double golden-yellow blooms with warm butterscotch, apricot, and yellow-orange tones.
The flowers continue from midsummer into autumn and have good vase life. Its moderate spread suits a sunny flowering border or patio container, while the strong upright stems make it especially useful in a cutting garden.
Plant after frost in fertile, moist but well-drained soil and provide consistent water during active growth. Deadhead regularly, feed with a high-potash fertilizer, and shelter the stems. In cold climates, lift the tubers before winter. The plant is reported as toxic to dogs, cats, and horses.
