Crocosmia Miss Scarlet is a compact, cormous perennial with upright mid-green sword-shaped leaves and strong arching stems. Tightly packed bright scarlet to crimson flowers open outward around a warm orange eye.
Grow it in full sun or partial shade in moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. Water during dry periods, divide congested clumps in spring, and remove old leaves and stems before new growth begins.
