- Color, scent, form and application based on growing style
- Garden & flower farm goal integration offering various species
- Disease and pest management using chemical free practices
- *Optional: Marketing and sales opportunities using your garden and/or flower field
We really want to engage people with growing beyond knowing the basics. You don't have to be a master gardener and/or flower farmer to grow and sell beautiful things. We can all grow within our limits and still have succession spaces that are environmentally positive for everyone to enjoy!
Farmer Meredith's Approach
Farmer Meredith loves to know your story, why you want to grow and your long-term growing goals as it pertains to outdoor horticulture. She will ask informative questions and learn about your space and vision, while considering the following:
- Layout, land access, environmental factors
- Soil conditions and sun exposure
- Companion plantings, rotations and expansion
- Bloom timing as it pertains to lengthening the bloom and growing season
- Style, form and color preferences
- *Optional: Evaluating local consumer demand.
Important Details
- The $65 planning fee covers consultation services only.
- Peony tubers, Dahlia Tubers and Spring bulbs are purchased separately.
- Dahlia tubers ship in spring. Bulbs and Peony Tubers ship in the fall based on growing zone.
- Consultation is available year around. Note that only certain times of year offer full availability and varietal choice of these products.

Upon Purchasing your customization time, Farmer Meredith will connect to schedule your planning session. Note that bulb & peony orders must be made prior to June 15th to secure a selection of over 400 bulbs and 80 peony tubers. However, bulk offerings or large supply varieties may still be available until September 1st. Dahlias are sold in early spring and planted once the soils is 60 degrees. However, planning sessions around dahlias can be year round. If you need more than 1 session, every additional hour can be purchased here. No problem!
