Astilbe Younique Pink is a compact, clump-forming perennial with glossy, divided green leaves and numerous dense rose-pink plumes in late spring and early summer. Its rounded mound fits shaded borders, woodland-style beds, patio containers, and cut-flower plantings.
Grow it in humus-rich clay or loam that stays moist, choosing partial shade or indirect sun. Water before the root zone dries, divide established clumps in winter or early spring, and either remove faded stems or retain the dry heads for winter structure.
