Large triangular lavender-pink plumes rise above the low mound of deep green foliage on Astilbe Younique Lilac. The compact plants reach about 16 to 20 inches tall and wide and flower from early into midsummer.
Grow this perennial in partial to full shade with regular water. It performs in moist sand, clay, or loam across acidic, neutral, or alkaline conditions. Use it in shaded borders, containers, woodland gardens, or mass plantings near water, and cut the fragrant plumes for arrangements.
