Asclepias Incarnata Soulmate forms an upright clump of sturdy stems with narrow dark green leaves. Dense clusters of fragrant, waxy dark rose-pink flowers with white centers appear from midsummer into early fall, attracting butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators.
Grow it in full sun in fertile medium-to-wet soil. It also adapts to average well-drained garden soil. Leave its deep taproot undisturbed once established, and handle the harmful milky sap with gloves.
