Aruncus Sparkles is a compact clump-forming perennial with finely divided pinnate green leaves. Dense mounds develop bright yellow and orange foliage colour in autumn.
From early to midsummer, branching stems carry conical panicles of many tiny cream-white star-like flowers. The airy display attracts pollinating insects and suits moist borders.
Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in sun, partial shade or full shade. Maintain moisture in brighter sites, divide established clumps when needed and clear dead seasonal foliage.
