Anemone 'Pamina' is a compact herbaceous perennial grown for its rich pink, semi-double flowers and neat clump of dark green leaves. It flowers from late summer into fall, when many other perennials are starting to fade. This makes it a valuable choice for adding fresh color late in the season. The blooms stand on slender stems above the foliage and bring a light, graceful look to borders. It also attracts bees and butterflies, which adds life to the garden.

This plant fits well in cottage-style plantings, mixed borders, and lightly shaded garden areas. Its smaller size makes it easier to place than taller Japanese anemones, and it works well in groups for a fuller effect. The foliage stays attractive through the growing season and gives a good base for the flowers. Established clumps can slowly spread over time, so it also suits natural-style planting. It is also useful as a cut flower, with blooms that add soft color indoors.

Care is simple in normal garden conditions with moist but well-drained soil. Little pruning is needed apart from removing spent blooms, and the stems can be cut back once flowering is over. Division in spring is the easiest way to increase stock, though root cuttings are also possible. Serious problems are rare, but beetles, leaf spot, powdery mildew, and downy mildew may appear now and then. With the right place and basic care, 'Pamina' is a reliable plant with a long season of interest.
