Actaea simplex Atropurpurea Group dark purple divided foliage supports tall, fragrant white-pink flower wands. Its late bloom adds vertical light to moist shade when many woodland plants have finished. It matures to about 120 to 180 cm high and 60 to 90 cm wide, giving it a clear role in woodland garden.
