Ruby-red flowers that shift through pink, cream, and mustard yellow give Achillea Paprika a changing summer and fall display. The flat flower heads rise above aromatic gray-green leaves on spreading clumps about 1.5 to 2.5 feet tall. Use it in sunny pollinator beds or cut the strong stems for indoor arrangements.
Full sun produces the richest color, although partial shade is suitable. Water while roots establish, then let the soil dry between deep soakings. A thin spring compost layer is enough; rich feeding can weaken the stems. Deadhead during summer and remove untidy foliage in spring. Aphids and powdery mildew may appear under stress, and the plant is toxic to dogs, cats, and horses if eaten.
