Enormous soft pink flower heads, up to about 25 cm across, rise on tall upright stems from midsummer into fall. The fully double blooms deepen toward the center and lighten toward the petal tips, standing above green pinnate foliage in borders, large containers, and cutting gardens.
Grow Dahlia Ottos Thrill in full sun and fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Water during dry periods, support the tall stems, and deadhead to extend flowering. In cold regions, lift and store the tubers in fall. Dahlia is toxic to pets and grazing animals if eaten, so keep it out of their reach.
