Potentilla nepalensis 'Miss Willmott' is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial with dark green, strawberry-like foliage and branched stems carrying loose clusters of cherry-pink flowers. Each small cup-shaped bloom has a darker crimson center and a soft yellow suffusion, creating a lively display through summer.
Its low mound works well at the front of sunny borders, in cottage gardens, gravel gardens, rock gardens, and mixed containers. Plant it in well-drained chalk, loam, or sandy soil in full sun, and divide established clumps in spring or fall. The ornamental fruit should not be eaten.
