When we first acquired this variety years ago, it was mainly for the name. We were surprised of its great field quality and decided to invest in more plants. It has warm, red full double flowers that stand out in any setting. It really wants to grow and grow fast! So be ready for blooms both in the landscape and for fresh-cut flowers.

Once planted, bare root peonies will take 2-3 years to create a large display of flowers. Each bare root tuber will include 3-5 eyes, which is where the plant will force flowering stems through the ground for the following year.
